Raman Imaging Group

Raman Imaging Group (in polish ZOR, Zespół Obrazowania Ramanowskiego) works in the field of medical chemistry, using in research a panel of modern spectroscopic and microscopic methods: spectroscopy and infrared and Raman imaging, atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning near field optical microscopy (SNOM), surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), fiber optic Raman spectroscopy, electron absorption spectroscopy and chiroptical spectroscopies: vibrational circular dichroism (VCD), Raman optical activity (ROA) and Electronic Circular Dichroism (ECD). In addition, the team develops new experimental techniques, such as simulated Raman microscopy (SRS), resonance Raman optical activity (RROA) or tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS).
