Prof. Małgorzata Barańska is looking for candidates for a ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (post - doc) to work in field Molecular spectroscopy, chemometrics, Raman microscopy in the project funded by the National Centre of Science (NCN) entitled: OPUS 15, 'RS-SRS-MED: Spontaneous and stimulated Raman scattering microscopy for sensitive and ultrafast imaging of cells upon development of life style diseases'.

Planned duration of employment: 6 months.
Key responsibilities include:
• preparing samples for measurements;
• performing measurements of biological samples (cells) using Raman microscopy and stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy;
• chemometric analysis of spectroscopic data;
• discussion of the results and preparation of publications;
• preparation of periodic project reports.
Requirements:
The selection procedure is open for all individuals, who meet the requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116.2.3) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, and who meet the following eligibility criteria according to § 165 of the Statute of the Jagiellonian University:
• holding at least a doctoral degree;
• having relevant scientific achievements;
• taking active part in scientific life.
