Raman Imaging Group
RIG works in the field of medical chemistry, using in research a panel of modern spectroscopic and microscopic methods: spectroscopy and infrared and Raman imaging, atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning near field optical microscopy (SNOM), surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), fiber optic Raman spectroscopy, electron absorption spectroscopy and chiroptical spectroscopies: vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) and Raman optical activity (ROA). In addition, the team develops new experimental techniques, such as simulated Raman microscopy (SRS), resonance Raman optical activity (RROA) or tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS).
